Aimée Valiquette is an Art Historian and Art Teacher with a sincere passion for learning, art and travel. She has a BA in French from Belmont University and a MA degree in the History of Art from Vanderbilt University. She has over 16 years experience teaching students of all ages. Her experience includes instruction of preschool, elementary, middle and high school students (and their parents) as a traveling art teacher, both in person and online. Aimée was fortunate to complete many study abroad courses during her undergraduate and graduate years. Among those, she is most proud of her intensive French language course at the internationally renowned CIDEF in Angers, France, and her studies of Baroque Art and Architecture, Russian Icons, and German and Russian languages in Germany, the Czech Republic, and Russia. She has since traveled to more than 16 other countries in order to immerse herself in art and culture. Previously employed for 6 years as an adjunct professor of Art History at Belmont University, she has a varied experience and enjoys the great pleasure of learning from, teaching, and communicating with people of vastly different backgrounds.
